Basketball Recap: Reed-Custer Takes a Loss

Reed-Custer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 62-51 to the Beecher Bobcats. The Comets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bobcats from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Reed-Custer's loss dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Beecher, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.

Looking ahead, Reed-Custer will look to defend their home court on Friday against Coal City at 7:00 p.m. As for Beecher, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Clifton Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
