Basketball Recap: North Bend Central Picks Up Eighth Straight Win at Home

North Bend Central waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the West Point-Beemer Cadets by a score of 54-42. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-39 back in December of 2024.

West Point-Beemer lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Allie Kaup, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mia Hunke, who posted four points along with eight boards and three blocks.

North Bend Central pushed their record up to 19-7 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points over those games. As for West Point-Beemer, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-8.
