Nelson Island falls despite strong effort from Brennan Lincoln

After a string of four wins, the Nelson Island Islanders's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They received a tough blow as they fell 58-39 to Chief Paul Memorial. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Nelson Island has scored all season.

Despite the loss, Nelson Island still got an impressive performance from Brennan Lincoln, who scored 15 points along with three steals. The game was Lincoln's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gordon Pitka, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.

Nelson Island's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-1. As for Chief Paul Memorial, their win was their third straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-0.

Nelson Island does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Chief Paul Memorial also has no future games currently scheduled.
