Volleyball Recap: Triton Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Triton won the last time they faced South Bend Career Academy and Clara Doll did her part to make sure it happened again. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Trailblazers on Thursday thanks in part to Doll, who had three digs, two aces, and one block. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19, 25-11.

Triton's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-10. As for South Bend Career Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Triton and South Bend Career Academy could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. The Trojans will face off against Plymouth at 7:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (220 vs. 92). Meanwhile, South Bend Career Academy (ranked 416th) will meet Glenn (ranked 95th) at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
