Soccer Recap: Eastern View Comes Up Short

If Eastern View was feeling good fresh off their 4-0 takedown of James Monroe last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cyclones lost 4-1 to the Chancellor Chargers on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Eastern View of the 5-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Their goal came courtesy of Melvin Rivas, which was the first he's scored this season.

Eastern View now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Chancellor, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Eastern View didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against King George on the 23rd. As for Chancellor, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, an 8-0 win against James Monroe on the 23rd.
