Two dominant signal callers in Brady Jay and Blake Moser are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Moses Lake Mavericks will square off against the Lake Stevens Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are still undefeated after 11 games, but that won't be the case come Saturday.

Moses Lake is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Bothell 17-14. The 17-point effort marked the Mavericks' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Moses Lake to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elijah Burns, who rushed for 103 yards.

Meanwhile, Lake Stevens humbled Kamiakin with a 55-14 victory. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-0.

Lake Stevens' win came from a few key players Moses Lake will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jayvian Ferrell, who rushed for 105 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 13 carries. Seth Price also helped with two scores in total.

Lake Stevens was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 231 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 224 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.

Lake Stevens didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Brian Tilghman, Will Lynch, and Akio Yonesaka picked up one apiece.

Moses Lake's record now sits at 11-0. As for Lake Stevens, their record is now an identical 11-0.
