Volleyball Recap: Oxbridge Academy Takes a Loss

Oxbridge Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Leonard on Saturday. The ThunderWolves took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancers.

Jessica Jerabek paced Oxbridge Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Jerabek got some help from Julia Fagan and her eight assists.

Oxbridge Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Leonard, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.

Oxbridge Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Heritage on the 27th. As for Leonard, they will take on Santaluces at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lancers are facing the Chiefs at the right time seeing as the Chiefs are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
