Baseball Recap: Hendrick Hudson Takes a Loss

Hendrick Hudson was the 7-0 winner over Ardsley when they last played one another back in May of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Sailors took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers on Wednesday.

Hendrick Hudson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Ardsley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hendrick Hudson will square off against Croton-Harmon at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Sailors' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Ardsley, they will challenge Albertus Magnus at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
