Central Davidson can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They never let the Asheboro Blue Comets get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The Spartans' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Central Davidson's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Asheboro, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
