Bridgeland hadn't done well against Cypress Lakes recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Bridgeland Bears walked away with a 60-47 win over the Cypress Lakes Spartans. The victory was nothing new for the Bears as they're now sitting on three straight.

Bridgeland's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ibifaa Azogu, who made all 7 shots she took for 20 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Azogu is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 45% in the last six games she's played. Daleigha Clark was another key player, going 6 of 14 on her way to 23 points.

Bridgeland was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cypress Lakes only posted seven assists.

Despite the loss, Cypress Lakes still got an impressive performance from Makennah Alexis, who posted ten points along with six boards and six steals. Cypress Lakes is 19-9 when Alexis posts three or more steals, but 1-2 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Antaniah Redmond, who had nine points.

Bridgeland's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-12. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points over those games. As for Cypress Lakes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-11.
