Rangeview was the 56-50 winner over Skyview when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rangeview Raiders were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 44-43 to the Skyview Wolverines.

Rangeview's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Devyn Davenport, who went 7 for 17 to rack up 17 points and four steals. That's the most points Davenport has posted since back in December of 2023. Rangeview has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Skyview, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Coming up, Rangeview will challenge Denver East at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Skyview, they will take on Gateway at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
