Softball Recap: Shenandoah Takes a Loss

Shenandoah lost against Clarinda two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs fell 8-3 to the Cardinals. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shenandoah's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Clarinda, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Shenandoah will host Lewis Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Titans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Clarinda, they have already played their next matchup, a 5-0 loss against Bondurant-Farrar on the 13th.
