It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Camden can now relate to. They fell just short of the Seneca Bobcats by a score of 5-4 on Friday. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Cade Marturano spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Thomas Bishop was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Camden's loss dropped their record down to 19-12. As for Seneca, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Seneca beat Camden by a score of 9-6 on Saturday.
