Baseball Recap: Narragansett Mariners vs. Tiverton Tigers        
        
		
            
 It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Narragansett had no problem doing just that  on Friday. They skirted past the Tiverton Tigers  2-1. That's two games straight that Narragansett has won by  just one  run.
 Narragansett got a great performance from  Zayden Kent as he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over 5.1 innings pitched.
 On the hitting side, Narragansett saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Zachary Previte, who  went 1-for-3 with a  stolen base and  an  RBI.
 Narragansett is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record  this season. As for Tiverton, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 8-11.
 Narragansett will square off against Barrington at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Barrington will roll in looking for their  tenth straight  win, something Narragansett surely won't give up without a fight. Tiverton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
