Soccer Game Preview: Chattanooga Christian vs. Howard Tech

The Chattanooga Christian Chargers will head out to challenge the Howard Tech Hustlin' Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chattanooga Christian is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Chattanooga Christian proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by eight) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their defense stepped up to hand Cumberland County a 1-0 shutout. The Chargers' winning goal came courtesy of Ethan Regis.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Howard Tech made sure to put some goals up on the board against Tyner Academy on Thursday. They blew past the Rams 7-0. The victory continues a trend for the Hustlin' Tigers in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won four in a row.

Chattanooga Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Howard Tech, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Chattanooga Christian beat Howard Tech 3-1 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chattanooga Christian since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
