Blue Ridge picks up fifth straight win on the road

Recap: Blue Ridge Knights vs. Heritage Hawks

The Blue Ridge Knights won the last time they faced the Heritage Hawks, and things went their way on Friday too. Blue Ridge walked away with a 61-51 victory over Heritage. Blue Ridge pushed the score to 50-28 by the end of the third, a deficit Heritage cut but never quite recovered from.

Despite the loss, Heritage saw an underclassman step up: Rylan White dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brennan Struck, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two blocks.

Blue Ridge pushed their record up to 16-10 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for Heritage, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-24.
