Basketball Recap: Stanwood Extends Home Winning Streak to 13

Stanwood had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 57-49 victory over the Shorecrest Scots. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 66-25 back in December of 2024.

Stanwood's win was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.8 points over those games. As for Shorecrest, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.
