The Kalama Chinooks have not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They came out on top against Winlock by a score of 53-40 on Monday. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Kalama has managed all season.
Kalama's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Abel Koski, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Gavin McBride was another key contributor, shooting 5-for-9 from long range and dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Kalama's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Winlock, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
Kalama will head out on the road to square off against the Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Winlock, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Loggers at 7:00 p.m. Onalaska is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
