After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tamarac, Saratoga Central Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 13-5 margin over the Hoosic Valley Indians. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Saratoga Central Catholic considering their two-run performance the matchup before.
Grace Schaefer was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up four earned runs off four hits. Schaefer was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three runs, a triple, and two RBI.
