After low-scoring totals in their previous four match, Culpeper County brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the James Monroe Yellow Jackets on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Blue Devils as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Culpeper County's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for James Monroe, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-11.

Looking ahead, Culpeper County will take on Albemarle at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for James Monroe, they will head out on the road to challenge Courtland at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
