Soccer Recap: North Monterey County Takes a Loss

North Monterey County was the 3-0 winner over Greenfield when they last played one another back in January of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The North Monterey County Condors might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Greenfield Bruins an easy 4-1 win. The Condors just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

North Monterey County's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Greenfield, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Monterey County will venture away from home to square off against Watsonville at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Watsonville's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Greenfield, they are taking a road trip to challenge Soledad at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Greenfield is facing Soledad at the right time seeing as Soledad is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
