Corona came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Summit SkyHawks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (110-102) Corona actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 11-25, 25-22, 24-26, 17-15.

Corona's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Summit, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Corona will host Patriot at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Summit, they will be playing at home against Apple Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
