There's no place like home for Cleburne, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Everman Bulldogs with a sharp 15-0 victory on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Faith Evans made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 15 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Matti Fitzpatrick was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Karma James, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

Cleburne hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Everman struck out six times.

Cleburne's record is now 8-16-2. As for Everman, they dropped their record down to 2-19-1 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
