Softball Recap: Conway Victorious

Conway won the last time they faced Green Sea Floyds and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers walked away with a 5-0 win over the Trojans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Not much got past Benton Causey, who gave up just three hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Green Sea Floyds off the board.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Addison Fogle, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

Conway's record is now 14-9. As for Green Sea Floyds, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

Conway will square off against Andrews at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 4, the Yellowjackets 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Green Sea Floyds, they will take on Hannah-Pamplico at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
