Baseball Recap: Westlake Has No Trouble Against Valley Forge

Westlake got themselves on the board against Valley Forge on Monday, but Valley Forge never followed suit. They blew past the Patriots 11-0. The Demons haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Sean Biller was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Westlake: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 6-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Jung, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Westlake was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .381. They are 4-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Westlake's record now sits at 9-7. As for Valley Forge, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Westlake will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Patriots: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
