Logan Moore Delivers Best Effort of Season

Logan Moore produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Manitou Springs to the win on Friday. Moore rushed for 352 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 16.8 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.

If history really does repeat itself, Moore might just drop another big game when he faces off against Lamar on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Moore saw the Thunder), he rushed for 113 yards on only 15 carries, and also picked up 36 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Noah Howard's Rushing Yards a New Career-High

Florence was led to victory by Noah Howard, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Howard rushed for 205 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 33 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

On the season, Howard has thrown 2 touchdowns while averaging 67.4 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 23 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 136 rushing yards.

Woodland Park Gets a Boost from Joseph Schoenberger in 24-20 Victory

Marqus Joseph Schoenberger was instrumental in extending Woodland Park's winning streak to six on Friday. Joseph Schoenberger turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 170 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 30 yards. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making six total tackles and defending two passes.

Lamar had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Joseph Schoenberger it was a similar story. When Joseph Schoenberger last faced the Thunder back in October of 2023, he threw for 281 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per attempt.

Parker Shreeve and Co. Win Sixth in a Row

Parker Shreeve was instrumental in extending Woodland Park's winning streak to six on Friday. Shreeve did his part (and then some), forcing a fumble, making seven total tackles (1.0 for loss), and defending three passes for the 'W'.
