Basketball Game Preview: Clovis North Broncos vs. Heritage Christian Warriors

The Clovis North Broncos and the Heritage Christian Warriors will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Clovis North is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: O'Connor, who was ranked second in their home state at the time (Clovis North was ranked tenth). Clovis North fell 56-46 to O'Connor on Saturday. The match marked the Broncos' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Heritage Christian has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 64-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Redondo Union on Saturday.

Clovis North suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 13-3. As for Heritage Christian, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-2.

Clovis North beat Heritage Christian 69-59 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Will Clovis North repeat their success, or does Heritage Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
