Softball Recap: North Mecklenburg Comes Up Short

North Mecklenburg came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Hough Huskies, falling 16-0. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Vikings' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Having lost for the first time this season, North Mecklenburg fell to 2-1. As for Hough, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Mecklenburg will host Harding University at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hough, they will welcome Weddington at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hough is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2 runs per game this season.
