Baseball Recap: Northview Knights vs. Owen Valley Patriots
If Northview was riding high fresh off their 7-1 takedown of Linton-Stockton on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Owen Valley Patriots on Tuesday. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.
Quinn Lewis was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Another player making a difference was Zac Buell, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run.
Northview has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Owen Valley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
