Volleyball Recap: Mapleton Find Success

Mineral Ridge typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Mapleton proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Rams.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 22-25, 25-22.

Paige Beattie had an outrageously good game as she had 37 digs and four assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 19 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Despite the loss, Mineral Ridge still got an impressive performance from Tomlyn Sandy, who had 18 digs and two aces.

Mapleton's victory bumped their record up to 6-17. As for Mineral Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 17-6.

Mapleton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Waynedale on the 20th. Mineral Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
