Volleyball Recap: Broome Takes a Loss

The Broome Centurions came up short against the First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest Crusaders on Monday and fell 2-0.

Kourtney Wofford paced Broome's offense, picking up eight kills. Wofford really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with seven. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kalyn Norris, racking up two apiece.

Broome's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Broome wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against High Point Academy on the 27th. As for First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against St. Joseph's Catholic on the 27th.
