Football Game Preview: Crestwood Cadets vs. North Fayette Valley

The Crestwood Cadets are taking a road trip to face off against North Fayette Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Crestwood will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

Crestwood is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Forest City 42-7 on Friday. The Cadets have beaten the Indians the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Indians has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, North Fayette Valley ended up a good deal behind Waukon on Friday and lost 50-31. That's two games in a row now that North Fayette Valley has lost by exactly 19 points.

Crestwood now has a winning record of 3-2. As for North Fayette Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Crestwood suffered a grim 28-6 defeat to North Fayette Valley when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Can the Cadets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
