Gulliver Prep had won five straight home games and Jacob Marquez did his part to make it six on Saturday. The Gulliver Prep Raiders blew past the Everglades Prep Academy Panther 68-17 thanks in part to Marquez, who shot 5-for-7 from deep and dropped a double-double with 27 points and 11 boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last 31 games he's played dating back to last season.

Daniel Wood was another key player, putting up two points in addition to eight assists and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

Gulliver Prep is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points over those games. As for Everglades Prep Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Gulliver Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-47 win against Ransom Everglades on the 5th. As for Everglades Prep Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 66-49 victory against BridgePrep Village Green on the 3rd.
