It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Tuscaloosa Academy had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took down the Calhoun Tigers 56-39. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Calhoun's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kamelia Hunter, who posted ten points and four steals. What's more, Hunter also racked up three assists, the most she's had since back in January of 2024. Alivia Mason was another key player, putting up 12 points and three steals.

Tuscaloosa Academy's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Calhoun, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-16.

As of now, neither Tuscaloosa Academy nor Calhoun have any future games scheduled.
