Basketball Recap: Dickinson Extends Winning Streak to Three

Dickinson had won two straight games and TroyNelle Belle did his part to make it three on Thursday. The Gators walked away with a 64-51 win over the Pearce Mustangs for which the team can thank Belle, who went 9-for-18 on his way to 27 points. His big performance that morning made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 20 points.

Dickinson's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Pearce, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coincidentally, Dickinson and Pearce will both be playing Grand Oaks the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will head out to face the Grizzlies at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Gators will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
