Basketball Recap: Richwood Comes Up Short

Richwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 80-64 to the Carroll Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 79-73 last Friday.

Richwood's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Carroll, their victory bumped their record up to 18-15.

Richwood and Carroll should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings. Richwood (ranked 49th) will meet North Webster (ranked 344th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Carroll will face off against Sterlington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday up 105 places (40 vs. 145).
