Murphysboro was the 28-14 winner over DuQuoin when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Devils took a blow against the Indians on Friday, falling 47-20. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Murphysboro now has a losing record of 4-5. As for DuQuoin, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Murphysboro nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
