Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask DeForest). They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Madison La Follette Lancers on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Norskies sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

DeForest's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Madison La Follette, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-10.

Looking ahead, DeForest will square off against Milton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Hawks' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Norskies' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Madison La Follette, they will welcome Sun Prairie at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
