St. Francis and Canisius squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but St. Francis had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Canisius Crusaders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Raiders of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Thursday.

Charlie Allesi paced St. Francis' offense, picking up 20 kills. Allesi got some help from Aidan Wallace and his 26 assists. Wallace was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.
