Volleyball Recap: West Campus Extends Winning Streak to Ten

West Campus had already won nine in a row and they went ahead and made it ten on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Vintage Crushers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since August 27th.

West Campus had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-16, 15-9.

Chloe Chan paced West Campus' offense, picking up nine kills. Chan got some help from Heather Yim and her 12 assists. Yim was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

West Campus' victory bumped their record up to 27-4. As for Vintage, their defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-9.

Coincidentally, West Campus and Vintage will both be playing Hughson the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Huskies at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Crushers will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
