Soccer Recap: Grace Comes Up Short

Grace was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell just short of the Villanova Prep Wildcats by a score of 3-2. The Lancers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

Tyler Larson wasn't going to let Villanova Prep walk away unscathed as he scored both of Grace's goals, bringing his season total up to two goals.

Grace's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Villanova Prep, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Grace will be playing in front of their home fans against Laguna Blanca at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Villanova Prep, they will challenge Coast Union at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Coast Union will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Villanova Prep surely won't give up without a fight.
