Basketball Recap: Warren County Takes a Loss

Warren County lost against Siegel back in January of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warren County Pioneers & Lady Pioneers took a 63-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Siegel Stars.

When it comes to explaining why Warren County lost, don't look at Devin Fish. Despite the final result, he went 8 for 14 on his way to 26 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Deashawn Adams, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 13 points and five rebounds.

Warren County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Siegel, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

Warren County will take on Clinton in a holiday battle at at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Warren County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.3 points per game this season. Siegel and Franklin will compete for holiday cheer at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Siegel has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 189 points over their last three matches.
