No. 4 IMG Academy travels to No. 7 Minnehaha Academy in another top 10 showdown Saturday.

Another busy weekend of high school hoops action features 20 ranked teams in action, while a pair of showdowns between top 10 opponents headline the loaded weekend.

No. 3 Sunrise Christian Academy (Bel Aire, Kan.) snapped high school basketball longest current winning streak at 44 games, defeating top-ranked Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.) 69-66 in an overtime thriller Friday evening.

A game-tying three point floater by Tennessee pledge Kennedy Chandler over the outstretched arms of Montverde Academy center Jalen Duren tied things up at 58 before a 7-0 run gave the Buffaloes a 65-58 advantage they would never relinquish.

Sunrise was paced by strong performances from Kennedy Chandler who finished with 19 points, six assists, six rebounds and three steals and Baylor signee Kendall Brown who had a game-high 21 points.

The other big game of the weekend was a showdown between No. 4 IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) and No. 7 Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis, Minn.) that saw the Ascenders cruise to a 73-53 road victory. Jaden Bradley paced a balanced scoring attack for IMG, scoring 21 points in the win.

Saturday also showcased the top two teams in the loaded Washington Catholic Athletic Conference as No. 5 DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) defeated No. 20 Paul VI (Chantilly, Va.) 89-77 behind a strong performance from junior Tyrell Ward who finished with a career-high 26 points in the win.

The other contest garnering national spotlight Saturday was Lake Norman Christian (Davidson, N.C.) upsetting No. 13 Ypsi Prep Academy (Ypsilanti, Mich.) 68-64 as No. 2 ranked sophomore Mikey Williams scored 19 points in the win.
