Basketball Game Preview: Parkersburg Catholic Crusaders vs. Wirt County Tigers

Parkersburg Catholic hasn't had much luck against Wirt County recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Parkersburg Catholic Crusaders will be playing at home against the Wirt County Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Parkersburg Catholic turned things around against Notre Dame on Thursday. They came out on top against the Fighting Irish by a score of 66-57.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wirt County). They walked away with a 67-59 win over Gilmer County on Thursday.

Wirt County's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Parkersburg Catholic, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11.
