Football Recap: Castro Valley's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

The Castro Valley Trojans didn't have quite enough to beat the Amador Valley Dons on Monday and fell 15-12. The match marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Even if they lost, Castro Valley's defense still kept up the pressure with five sacks. Jannah Duqmaq was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up four herself. Eva Wesela was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles.

Having lost for the first time this season, Castro Valley fell to 5-1. As for Amador Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Castro Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 48-6 win against Fremont on the 9th. As for Amador Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-6 victory against Granada on the 9th.
