Soccer Game Preview: IC Catholic Prep vs. Fenwick

The IC Catholic Prep Knights will venture away from home to square off against the Fenwick Friars at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. IC Catholic Prep has given up an average of 5.4 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fenwick will have to contend with a IC Catholic Prep team hungry for a victory, something the squad hasn't seen yet this season. IC Catholic Prep lost 5-0 to Loyola Academy on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Fenwick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of St. Francis. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Fenwick couldn't quite close it out.

Lila Gaddipati and Quinn Sansone scored both of Fenwick's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Fenwick now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for IC Catholic Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1.
