Soccer Game Preview: Beaufort Academy vs. John Paul II

Beaufort Academy is 0-6 against John Paul II since March of 2018 but things could change on Monday. The Eagles will head out to square off against the Golden Warrriors at 5:00 p.m. Beaufort Academy knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully John Paul II likes a good challenge.

Beaufort Academy's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Thursday. They blew past Community Bible Church Christian Academy 10-0. It was an even better day for Keiley Good as she scored six goals for her team.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten goals the game before, John Paul II was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pinewood Prep. John Paul II's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Beaufort Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those five matches. As for John Paul II, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

Beaufort Academy suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to John Paul II in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
