Football Recap: Rutherford Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The matchup between Rutherford and Chipley on Friday hardly resembled the 14-7 effort from their previous meeting. The Rams took a 39-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Rutherford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Chipley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rutherford will venture away from home to face off against Holmes County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chipley, they will square off against Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
