Basketball Game Preview: Wilder Wildcats vs. Notus Pirates

The Wilder Wildcats will host the Notus Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Wednesday, Wilder came up short against Rimrock and fell 41-33. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Notus played a tough game on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 62-35 loss at the hands of Riverstone International. The Pirates have struggled against the Otters recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Wilder will have to contain Caleb Cudaback as he made an impact in Notus' last game. He went 7-for-12 to rack up 15 points and seven rebounds.

Notus' loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Wilder, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.

Wilder might still be hurting after the 55-33 loss they got from Notus in their previous meeting back in January. Can Wilder avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
