Josiah Welch Game Report: vs Gregori

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Josiah Welch: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He picked up 0.5 sacks and made three total tackles (1.0 for loss), helping propel Downey past Gregori by a score of 45-8. We hope Welch's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Looking ahead, Welch and Downey will head out to square off against Pitman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
